THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT

     I watch and wait for the right moment

     Trusting my speed, agility and precision

     To carry me to my destination safe and sound.

     I bask in good fortune and abundance

     And invite familiar faces to join me

     I promise opportunity and equality for all

     and in return demand loyalty and devotion.

     I AM THE RABBIT

    

     The year of the Rabbit will hop in on January 22, 2023, giving rise to all sorts of interesting and unexpected options. As soon as you think you’ve figured out what will happen next, the parameters will shift and the direction will change, making it necessary for everyone to take care of their responsibilities and to leave nothing to chance or unfinished.

     Generally, the Rabbit brings good fortune, growth and longevity; however, strong emotions usually tag along, adding entertainment, drama and diplomacy. The Rabbit is a negotiator who intuitively sees which path will lead to success and victory. He thinks standing up and is always ready to take flight; difficult to keep up with and impossible to make sense of.

     Moods will swing, making it increasingly difficult to predict what comes next. The Rabbit will zig and zag, keeping even the most astute second-guessing their next moves. But don’t dismay; the Rabbit is also lucky and can slip under the radar if necessary to avoid unsavory situations.

     He isn’t a fighter and will often send mixed messages when dealing with opposition, but don’t underestimate his cunning ability to outmaneuver anyone who wants to play with a big stick. The Rabbit loves to show off, be the center of attention and entertain. He can make you feel at home and at the same time rob you, so beware of what you share.

     Hopefully the Rabbit will be able to work his magic and encourage positive negotiations between nations, races and religions. He can unite the world and has the insight to recognize what’s possible and the wherewithal to know enough to keep the masses happy and the rule of law in place.

     The Rabbit’s memory is excellent. A call to review and assess the past, followed by dismantling and discarding what’s no longer valid, will be helpful if new and exciting opportunities come into play that present options for the planet’s habitats to take advantage of and enjoy. We can only hope the diplomats worldwide can and will enforce changes that benefit the masses instead of just a handful.

     Overall, the Rabbit offers the planet hope, peace and longevity. With a healthy attitude and luck, perhaps those making the decisions worldwide will abide by the Rabbit’s rules and respond peacefully to requests to protect this magnificent planet we call home.
